Assumption High School defeated Morgan City High School, 3-1, in District 7-4A action at Tiger Diamond Wednesday. Assumption scored two runs in the fifth and another in the seventh for a 3-0 lead. Morgan City scored a run in its final at bat in the bottom of the seventh. Chris Pitre suffered the loss.
