Shawn Maurice Johnson, 49, a resident of Bayou Vista, Louisiana, and native of Berwick, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021, at 3:33 p.m.
There are currently three open seats in the Louisiana Legislature as lawmakers approach the middle of their term, and there are certainly more to come.
