Two more COVID-related deaths in St. Mary were reported Wednesday by the Louisiana Office of Public Health.
The deaths bring the parish's pandemic total to 157.
The SARS-CoV-2 virus has mutated — and so have the politics attached to the government response in Louisiana.
Another 100 COVID-19 cases were reported in St. Mary Parish for the 24 hours ending at midday Tuesday.
