Patterson alum Charles earns All-ASC 1st-team honors

Completing their fifth straight winning season, the East Texas Baptist University football team received several awards from the American Southwest Conference. East Texas Baptist had 12 players earn awards, with three players gaining All-American Southwest Conference first-team recognition. Brian Baca (offensive), Sirbatian Charles (defensive) and Anton Clark (defensive) earned first-team honors. Baca (Pittsburg, Texas) ended his East Texas Baptist career completing 191-of-315 passing for 2,296 yards and 16 touchdown passes.
