CCHS softball tourney begins Friday

The Central Catholic Lady Eagles defeated Riverside 2-1 on the road Monday in 10 innings.
Haley Fontenot drove in the game-winning run on an infield single in the top of the 10th.
The Central Catholic Eagles finished 3-0 this weekend in Berwick’s Panther Classic with wins against Berwick, Terrebonne and Morgan City.
Friday, Central Catholic defeated Berwick 4-1.
The Central Catholic Lady Eagles run-ruled South Terrebonne 13-0 Wednesday in Amelia.
No individual stats were available.
The No. 8 Patterson Lumberjacks were eliminated from postseason play by No. 9 Richwood in Class 3A Regional Round basketball action at Patterson Tuesday.
