Erath eased past Berwick 43-13 in District 8-3A action in Erath Friday.
The home team led 11-2 after a quarter of play, 20-7 at halftime and 31-10 after three quarters.
Patterson and Berwick played another close game in their second round of District 8-3A action with Patterson coming out with a victory, this time in overtime.
Berwick High School defeated Patterson High School 48-23 in District 8-3A girls’ varsity action Friday at Patterson.
The Tri-City Area’s Prep bowling season began this week with teams from Berwick, Central Catholic and Morgan City competing.
