The Berwick Lady Panthers scored two runs in their final two at bats for a come-from-behind 9-8 victory against E.D. White in the Lady Panthers’ District 9-3A opener in Berwick Tuesday.
The Central Catholic Eagles finished 3-0 this weekend in Berwick’s Panther Classic with wins against Berwick, Terrebonne and Morgan City.
Friday, Central Catholic defeated Berwick 4-1.
The Berwick Lady Panthers finished 1-1 this week in bowling action defeating Terrebonne Monday and falling to Central Catholic Wednesday.
Ten teams, including all four from the Tri-City Area will compete in the annual Berwick High School Lady Panther Classic at the Berwick Civic Complex Friday and Saturday.
Three Tri-City Area teams are among those who will compete in Berwick’s Panther Classic Thursday-Saturday at Berwick High School.
