Morgan City, Patterson and Berwick High schools participated in Morgan City High School's annual Volleyball Tournament Saturday. Morgan City finished 1-2, with a win against Ellender, a loss to Destrehan and a defeat to Sam Houston in a matchup of the tournament's fifth-place team (Sam Houston) and sixth-place team (Morgan City) after pool play. Patterson finished 1-1 Saturday, defeating New Iberia and falling to Destrehan, while Berwick was 0-2 Saturday, falling to Hahnville and Sam Houston. (The Daily Review/Geoff Stoute)

Vandebilt Catholic came out hungry for its first win of the season and jumped on Berwick Friday at Geisler Stadium in Berwick.

The Berwick Panthers will be looking to bounce back Friday when they host the Vandebilt Catholic Terriers at 7 p.m.
Berwick enters the contest 1-1, while Vandebilt Catholic is 0-2.
