Former friend doesn’t know the whole story

DEAR ABBY: I made a friend six years ago on social media. We have never actually met in person, but we have stayed in touch.
DEAR ABBY: For 50 years, I had a close career and personal friend I’ll call “Ellen.” She has been married a long time, but I know she and her husband have had some rocky patches.
DEAR ABBY: I have been married for two decades to a man who is incapable of connecting with anyone. It didn’t become apparent until after we were married.
