Northwest High avoids Berwick's upset bid 34-31

Ninth-ranked Northwest High School rallied with two fourth-quarter touchdowns to avoid an upset-bid by Berwick High School in Prairie Ronde Friday in Class 3A action.

Berwick looks to take its big-play offense on the road Friday at Northwest.

Behind more than 600 yards of total offense, including 557 passing from quarterback Mitchell Sanford, Berwick High School upset Northwest High School, 52-34 in a wild contest in Berwick Friday.

Berwick, Northwest to meet in 3A showdown

Berwick High School will face its toughest test of the young season when it hosts Class 3A’s eighth-ranked team, Northwest, Friday at 7 p.m.
