The office of U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., posted these photos after an aerial survey of damage caused by Hurricane Ida in southeast Louisiana. Top Photo: Damage was extreme at Port Fourchon, near where the hurricane came ashore at midday Sunday as a Category 4 storm. Second Photo: These pictures show damage at Grand Isle. Above: A dangerous storm surge caused flooding across the southeastern part of the state.
