Thibodaux Regional inks deal with Assumption

Thibodaux Regional Health System announced Thursday that it has signed a multiyear partnership with Assumption Parish to continue providing health and wellness services to parish residents.
Thibodaux Regional has been an integral part of Assumption Parish since the 1990s, and has been able to recruit and retain excellent primary care physicians and nurse practitioners who are from Assumption Parish, the hospital said in a news release.
Drs. Keith Landry, Eric Gravois, Aimee Moran and the staff at Thibodaux Regional Family Medicine Clinic have provided medical care to many local families.
Dr. Jordan Bourg from Pierre Part will be joining the practice in September 2027. More recently, Thibodaux Regional opened a Cardiology Clinic to offer much-needed heart care to residents in Assumption Parish.
In addition, Thibodaux Regional takes an active role in supporting healthy lifestyles including partnering with Assumption High School on numerous endeavors.
CEO Greg Stock said Thibodaux Regional’s commitment to the residents of Assumption Parish remains strong: “This commitment includes the construction of a new, approximately $15-17M, 20,000 square foot, state-of-the-art Physician Clinic and Wellness Center located on LA-70 Spur in Plattenville, Louisiana.”
“The new facility will enhance quality of life by providing access to a wide-range of health care services, as well as promote overall health and well-being by offering comprehensive wellness programs,” continued Stock.
Dr. Keith Landry added, “I am energized by Thibodaux Regional Health System’s commitment to Assumption Parish in providing a modern, state-of-the-art clinic facility for our physicians to care for residents today and for future generations. Also, integrating a Fitness Center on site will provide an innovative venue for Assumption residents to achieve our health and wellness goals.”
Jeff Naquin, president of the Assumption Parish Police Jury said, “On behalf of the Assumption Parish Police Jury, and all the residents of Assumption Parish, we anxiously await the construction of the new Thibodaux Regional Wellness Center and Clinic in Plattenville. “The parish has always welcomed Thibodaux Regional into our community and look forward to a continued relationship with them in their new endeavor.”
