Central Catholic pitcher Blake Hidalgo, in action last week against Hanson Memorial, was the pitcher of record Monday in Central Catholic's 3-1 victory against Division 1 Jesuit High School in Metairie as he pitched a two-hitter. Hidalgo nearly had a no-hitter as he held the Blue Jays hitless until the home team strung together two hits with two outs in the bottom of the seventh. (The Daily Review/Geoff Stoute)
