Morgan City bowlers recognized

The Morgan City U.S. Bowling Congress Bowling Association held its annual meeting and awards ceremony May 6 at the St. Mary Parish Senior Citizens Building in Morgan City.
Awards were given from the John “Push” Rogers Memorial C h a m p i o n s h i p Tournament, while others were recognized as Senior Bowler of the Year, Bowler of the Year, 700 Club Tournament Champion, Most Improve and the association’s Hall of Fame Inductee.
Below is a list of the awards:
—John “Push” Rogers Memorial Championships:
—Allen Price Memorial Award (team champions): Mai Amador, Monique Aucoin, Joe Sobers, Alyssa Rich and Marcus Jones.
—Leo Morvant Memorial Award (doubles champions): Amador and Jerry Pillaro
—Mike Duke Memorial Award (singles champion): Mark Kleinmann
—Bobby Froreich Memorial Award (all events handicap champion): Anthony Falgout Jr.
—Roland Crappell Memorial Award (city champion, all events scratch champion): Falgout, with a 2,233, a new city record
—Senior Bowler of the Year: Pillaro
