MCRD Flag Football, Cheerleader applicant registration to begin

The Morgan City Recreation Department Flag Football and Cheerleader registrations begin Aug. 1. Deadline to return completed forms is the first week in September.
Forms are available at the recreation department located at 915 Everett St., Morgan City-area schools and will appear periodically in The Daily Review.
Some of the requirements for flag football are:
—Proof of age is a copy of birth certificate (not an original).
—Child must be between ages 7 and 12. There is no weight limit. To be eligible, participants must have turned 7 by Sept. 1 or have not turned 13 before Sept. 1.
—Entry fee is $45 and non-refundable. A second child in family is $35 and a third is $30. A family limit is $110.
—Participants must have a physical examination.
Cheerleader applicants must have:
