The Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association's Tim Gilmore won the Cajun Open Horseshoe Tournament in Welsh May 20. The Bayou Vista resident took first place in Class A with a 6-1 mark and a 60.0 ringer percentage. Wanda Lantz of Marrero took second with a record of 5.5-1.5 and a ringer percentage of 42.1, while Ricky Richard of Church Point placed third with a 5-2 mark and a ringer percentage of 49.2 From left are Gilmore, Lantz and Richard.
