A Railroad Avenue man has been booked on attempted murder charges after an exchange of gunfire, in the presence of a child, on Wednesday at a Fifth Street home, Morgan City police said.
Two people are in custody after Morgan City police answered a shots-fired call Wednesday near Fifth Street and stopped a suspect after a short vehicle chase, the Police Department said.
