Police Reports 8-17-17

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Jacoby Roberts, 27, of 119 Collins St., Baldwin, was arrested Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. Roberts turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. A deputy transported him to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
Neil Biggers, 40, of 3705 Eighth St., Harvey, was arrested Wednesday at 7:57 a.m. for a warrant for failure to appear for direct contempt of court on charges of speeding. A correctional officer transported Biggers from the Jefferson Parish Correctional facility to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Biggers was released on a $389 bond.
Tanesha Jackson, 26, of 2436 La. 318, Jeanerette, was arrested Wednesday at 11:49 a.m. for a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Jackson turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Jackson was released on a $5,008 bond.
Corey Orgeron, 29, of 1201 East Academy Avenue, Jennings, was arrested Wednesday at 12:05 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle while license suspended. A correctional officer transported Orgeron from the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
Corey Sereal, 43, of 611 Cypress St., Jeanerette, was arrested Wednesday at 3:23 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal trespassing. A correctional officer transported Sereal from the Iberia Parish Jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Sereal was released on a $500 recognizance bond.
Gerald Howard, 23, of 119 N. Jean Ellen Avenue, Houma, was arrested Wednesday at 10:14 p.m. for a Houma Police Department warrant on charges of remaining where forbidden, speeding, and no proof of insurance. A deputy monitoring traffic, observed a vehicle traveling at 62 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour speed zone. The deputy conducted a traffic stop, and made contact with the driver, Howard. Through the course of the stop, the deputy found evidence that Howard held an active warrant through the Houma Police Department and that he was operating his vehicle without proof of insurance. Howard was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
Jervis Bazile, 36, of 1411 Del Papa Lane, Houston, was arrested Thursday at 2:24 a.m. for a warrant for failure to appear on charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended license and operating a vehicle with improper headlamps. While assisting the Baldwin Police Department with a disturbance complaint, a deputy made contact with Bazile. The deputy found evidence that Bazile held an active warrant. Bazile was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $750.
Raven Pepperday, 20, of 141 Two Sisters Court, Bayou Vista, was arrested Wednesday at 4:08 p.m. on charges of improper lane use and possession of Schedule I marijuana.
Anthony Jackson, 25, of 604 Willow St., Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 4:08 p.m. on charges of possession of Schedule I marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Narcotics detectives conducted a traffic stop on US 90 in the Patterson area after observing a vehicle cross the solid white fog line several times. After making contact with the driver, Pepperday, and passenger, Jackson, detectives observed a strong odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Through the course of the investigation, detectives located marijuana and cigars inside. Both Jackson and Pepperday were released on a summons.
Tyler Wilson, 44, of 408 Snead St., Berwick, was arrested Wednesday at 10:13 p.m. on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of Schedule II Oxycodone, possession of Schedule III Subutex, possession of Schedule III testosterone cypionate, possession of Schedule IV clonazepam, possession of Schedule IV Xanax, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of CDS law Drug Free Zone.
Devan Serpa, 32, of 133 Shady Grove Drive, Patterson, was arrested Wednesday at 10:13 p.m. on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of Schedule IV Xanax and possession of legend drug cyproheptadine hydrochloride.
Narcotics detectives conducted a traffic stop on US 90 in the Patterson area on a vehicle for improper lane use. During the course of the stop, detectives made contact with the occupants, identifying Serpa and Wilson as passengers. Detectives located methamphetamine, pills, and drug paraphernalia inside of the vehicle. Detectives then developed information that led to them obtaining a search warrant for Wilson’s residence. Through the course of the search, with assistance from the Berwick Police Department and Morgan City Police Department, detectives located methamphetamine, pills, and drug paraphernalia including syringes and glass pipes. The residence is located near a school, church, daycare center, and recreational center. Serpa and Wilson were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrest:
Michael Johnson, 52, of Choctaw Street, Charenton, was arrested Tuesday on charges of criminal mischief and criminal trespass. He was released on a summons. Officers responded to a complaint in reference to an altercation. During the investigation, it was learned that Johnson was involved, and he was arrested.
