Police Reports 5-2-17

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Jermaine Carmouche, 38, 1216 Fifth St., Patterson, was arrested on Monday at 10:41 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of simple battery and criminal damage to property. No bail is set.
Darteze Jack, 28, 18 Bodin Rd., Franklin, was arrested on Monday at 10:48 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and no driver’s license. Bail is set at $1,000.
Narcotics agents arrested Chantal Burke, 23, 404 Church St., Patterson, on Monday at 7:34 p.m. for improper lane usage, possession of Schedule I – marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor and possession of Legend Drug – Meloxicam without a prescription. No bail is set.
Cherie Welch, 404 Church St., Patterson, was arrested on Monday at 7:42 p.m. for possession of Legend Drug – Meloxicam without a prescription, possession of a CDS in the presence of a minor and possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. No bail is set.
Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrests:
Natisha Brown, 37, of Brianna Drive, New Iberia, was arrested Thursday on charges of unauthorized use of a movable and was released on a summons.
Joseph Vice, 29, of Briarcliff Drive, Youngsville, was arrested Saturday on a charge of theft.
Officers responded to a possible theft that occurred at a Tribal business.
Also, officers responded to a fight that was occurring at a Tribal business Sunday. During the investigation, the following were arrested:
Dustin Champagne, 31, Weeks Island Road, New Iberia, was arrested for aggravated battery. He was transported to the parish jail.
Somphane Chansrymoung, 31, Duchamp Road, Broussard, was arrested on Sunday for aggravated battery. Chansrumoung was transported to the parish jail.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrest:
Ashley Sampson, 28, Isabella Street, Franklin, was arrested on Monday at 9:31 a.m., on warrants for the charges of simple battery and criminal trespassing. Sampson is held on a $3,000 bond.
