Police Reports 5-1-17

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Eligah Tate, 21, 616 Cypremort St., Jeanerette, was arrested on Friday at 2:19 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of simple battery and disturbing the peace. Tate was released on a $1,000 bond.
Stanesha Mars, 34, 161 Sherwood Drive, Lafayette, was arrested on Friday at 11:12 a.m. for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and improper lane usage. Bail is set at $2,750.
Velma Patterson, 53, 123 Jupiter St., Bayou Vista, was arrested on Saturday at 12:46 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to honor written promise to appear. Patterson was released on a $350 bond.
Edward Beasley, 39, 110 Baronne St., Baldwin, was arrested on Sunday at 10:20 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of hit and run driving and failure to yield right of way. Bail is set at $1,500.
Lenis Clement Jr., 55, 6107 La. 87, Charenton, was arrested on Sunday at 11:04 a.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and resisting an officer. No bail is set.
Narcotics agents arrested Chett Von Buelow, 24, 1530 Bernice St., Morgan City, on Friday at 9:44 p.m. for speeding and possession of marijuana. Von Buelow was released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Avontre Perro, 18, St. Joseph Lane, Franklin, was arrested on Friday at 4:44 p.m., on a warrant for the charge of second degree battery. Perro was booked, processed, and released on a $10,000 bond.
Christina Fontenot, 38, St. Joseph Lane, Franklin, was arrested on Friday at 4:48 p.m., on a warrant for simple battery. Fontenot was released on a $2,500 bond.
Deshawn Granger, 27, Baker Drive, Houma, was arrested on Saturday, at 7:56 a.m., on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of angling without a license. Granger was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
William Montgomery, 36, Rosemary Street, Franklin, was arrested on Monday, at 5:30 a.m., for the charge of domestic abuse battery by strangulation. No bond is set.
