Police Reports 4-4-17

St. Mary Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrest:
Aaron Boudreaux Sr., 40, 225 Verret St., Amelia, was arrested on Monday at 6:15 p.m. for possession of Schedule II – methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile. No bail is set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Jasmine McCoy, 23, Iberia Street., Franklin, was arrested on Friday, at 8:15 p.m., on the charges of possession of Schedule I narcotics – marijuana – first offense and obstruction of justice. McCoy was released on a $3,000 bond.
Gary Jones, 49, Ibert Street, Franklin, was arrested on Saturday, at 12:55 p.m., on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple criminal damage to property. Jones was transported to Jeanerette Police Department.
Kendell Williams, 34, Easy Street., Franklin, was arrested on Saturday, at 11:45 p.m., for the charges of stop sign violation, open container and possession of schedule II narcotics – crack cocaine. Williams was released on a $5,000 bond.
Byron Sonia, 36, St. Joseph Lane, Franklin, was arrested on Sunday, at 1:11 a.m., on a warrant for failure to appear for the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sonia was additionally charged with possession of schedule I narcotics – marijuana. No bail is set.
Demon Beasley, 26, of Jones Road, Jeanerette, was arrested on Saturday, at 1:31 p.m., on a warrant for failure to appear for traffic violations. Beasley was additionally charged with resisting an officer and misrepresentation during booking. Beasley was held on a $3,811 bond.
Brandon Francis, 28, Whitney Avenue, Harvey, was arrested on Monday, at 10:47 p.m., on warrants for failure to appear on the charges of non-support. Francis was also arrested on a warrant for the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on the charge of theft under $750.00. Francis was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Girard Navy Sr., 53, Fifth Street, Franklin, was arrested on Monday, at 11:27 p.m., on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Navy was held on a $36,524 bond.
