Police Reports 4-28-17

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Christian Kiffe, 33, 122 Teche Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested on Thursday at 3:52 p.m. for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, hit and run driving and possession of open alcoholic containers in motor vehicles. No bail is set.
Jarrod Bellard, 33, 102 Row 4, Apt. 3, Lafayette, was arrested on Thursday at 4:02 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license and general speed law violation. No bail is set.
Troy Walden, 54, 901 Leon Drive, Patterson, was arrested on Friday at 1:10 a.m. for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and improper lane usage. Walden was released on a $2,750 bond.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Gerald Dupas, 30, Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested on Thursday, at 10:55 a.m., for the charges of possession of Schedule I narcotics – synthetic marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of schedule II narcotics – methamphetamine and parole violation. Dupas was transferred to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Nathan Thomas III, 40, Eleventh Street, Franklin, was arrested on Thursday at 11:01 a.m., on warrants for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Thomas was transferred to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Michael Walter, 38, Eleventh Street, Franklin, was arrested on Thursday, at 11:04 a.m., on warrants for the charges of criminal trespassing and theft under $300. Walter was also arrested on warrants for the charges of simple burglary and criminal trespassing. Walter was also arrested on a parole violation. Walter was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Jeremy Landry, 28, and Cotney Landry, 23, Oakdale Street, Franklin, were arrested on Thursday, at 6:30 p.m., on a warrant for the charge of simple battery with medical attention. They are held on a $2,500 bond each.
