Police: Minor injuries in four-vehicle crash

Minor injuries were reported following a four-vehicle crash shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 90 just east of Morgan City. One driver, Eligio Morales, 29, of Houma, was charged with careless operation and no driver’s license, State Police Troop I Spokesman Master Trooper Brooks David said.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report of the crash at 4:56 p.m. near the Siracusa high rise, and authorities kept one lane of travel open in the east and west directions while they handled the crash.
