Chitimacha Police arrest 3

Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Huchinson reported that three individuals were arrested on November 16, for alleged drug-related offenses, after Chitimacha Police Department conducted search warrants on two separate residences on the Chitimacha reservation.
Upon officers’ arrival at one of the residences, they located a vehicle in the driveway, occupied by two subjects.
According to Hutchinson, while the officers were detaining both subjects from the vehicle, there was noticed, a strong odor of burnt marijuana from inside of the vehicle.
During the search of the vehicle, officers located approximately 13 grams of marijuana, approximately 36 pills of MDMA, two packs of cannabis infused candy, numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia, a fully loaded 9 mm handgun, and approximately $1600 in cash.
Also, approximately eight grams of marijuana were located in the possession of a juvenile.
Tamon Lockett, 22, of Bollard Street, Baldwin, was arrested on charges of distribution of Schedule I marijuana, possession of Schedule I marijuana, distribution of Schedule I MDMA, possession of Schedule I MDMA, violation of Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Law; Drug Free Zone, transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses, illegal carrying of weapons in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was transported to the parish jail.
Sierra Richoux, 18, of Walker, was arrested on tribal charges of unlawful distribution of drugs, unlawful possession of drugs and unlawful production or sale of drugs in drug free zone.
She was transported to the parish jail.
A 17-year-old juvenile of Charenton, was arrested on tribal charges of unlawful possession of drugs and unlawful production or sale of drugs in drug free zone.
The juvenile was released to their parent, on a summons.
Police say additional arrests are likely imminent.
The investigation is reported to be ongoing.
