Arrest Reports 7-9-18

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum reported the following arrests:
Bettina Duval, 43, of 3470 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, was arrested Friday at 12:04 p.m. on the charge of possession of marijuana.
Lawrence Welch Jr., 57, of 3470 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, was arrested Friday at 12:04 p.m. on the charge of possession of marijuana.
A deputy patrolling Amelia responded to a residence on Lake Palourde Road, to stand by during an eviction. The deputy made contact with Welch and Duval at the residence. Upon entering the residence, the deputy could smell a strong odor of burnt marijuana. The deputy located two burnt marijuana cigarettes inside the residence. Both Duval and Welch were released on a summons.
Solomon Falgout IV, 28, of 631 Sebby’s Lane, Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 1:51 p.m. on the charge of domestic abuse battery.
A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista responded to a disturbance on Sebby Lane. The deputy found evidence that Falgout struck the victim prior to his arrival. Falgout was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking and incarceration. Falgout was released on a $2,500 bond.
Cody White, 25, of 300 Main St., Patterson, was arrested Friday at 2:32 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple criminal damage to property and a warrant for failure to appear on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
White was transported from the Lafayette Parish Jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking and incarceration. No bail is set.
Krystal Tolento, 30, of 34529 Second St., Berwick, was arrested Friday at 10:21 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of aggravated assault.
A deputy patrolling the area of Patterson responded to a disturbance at a residence on Cremo Lane. Through the investigation, the deputy made contact with Tolento and learned of an active warrant for her arrest. Tolento was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
Jessica Melancon, 36, of 117 Judy Lane, Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 10:23 a.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft.
A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista responded to a disturbance at a local business. Through the investigation, the deputy made contact with Melancon and learned of an active warrant for her arrest. Melancon was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
Jessica Fears, 34, of 500 Roderick St., Morgan City, was arrested Sunday at 1:39 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family.
A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista assisted with a traffic stop on Saturn Road. During the course of the stop, the deputy made contact with Fears and learned of an active warrant for her arrest. Fears was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $1,872.
Tremel Jones, 24, of 301 Grizzaffi St., Morgan City was arrested Sunday at 4:44 p.m. on charges of driving under suspension and careless operation.
A deputy patrolling Amelia responded to the area of Lake Palourde Road for a dirt bike complaint. The deputy observed a dirt bike matching the given description turn around in the middle of the roadway and drive off at a high rate of speed. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with Jones. The deputy also learned that Jones was operating the dirt bike with a suspended driver’s license. Jones was released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Tina Thibodeaux reported the following arrests:
Allen Jones, 42, of Martin Luther King Blvd., Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 12:22 p.m. on charges of disturbing the peace by public intoxication and possession of Schedule I narcotic marijuana.
Jones was booked, processed, and held on a $3,000 bond.
Stacy Dufour, 50, of La. 107, Effie, was arrested Saturday at 8:08 p.m. on a warrant for 12th Judicial District Court for the charge of simple burglary and a warrant for 15th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on charges of theft of goods under $500 and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dufour was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Michael Landry, 30, of Percy Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 12:02 a.m. on a warrant for 3rd Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting.
Landry was booked, processed, and held on a $468 bond.
