WILL “SONNY” COLEMAN

Will “Sonny” Coleman, 75, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, La., passed away peacefully at 5:36 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. Luke Baptist Church, 3755 Bayou Black Drive. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Veralyn Chapman Coleman; sons, Kevin (Laura) Coleman, Bruce Coleman (Sharhonda) and Dana (LaTanya) Coleman; daughters, Cheralyn Coleman (companion, Edward J. Shaw) and Mrs. Hayward (Doris) Allen, III all of Houma; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; brothers, Benjamin Coleman of Franklin and Freddie Coleman of Morgan City; sister, Rosetta Coleman of Houma; and two sisters-in-law, a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and grandparents.
