WILDA MAE “TUT” BROWN JACKSON HENRY

Wilda Mae “Tut” Brown Jackson Henry, a resident of Patterson, La. and native of Opelousas, La., passed away peacefully on Thursday April 18, 2019 at 11:52 a.m. at her residence.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the St. Luke Baptist Church, 1709 Harry St., Patterson, La., from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m., with Reverend Keith Verrett officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in the Patterson Memorial Park in Patterson, La.
Memories of Wilda will forever remain in the hearts of her son, Joseph (Tina) Jackson of Patterson, La.; her daughters. Bernadine Garrett and Dorothy Henry both of Patterson, La. and Lisa Knight of Berwick, La.; an adopted son, Henry Johnson of Bayou L’ourse, La.; her sisters, Lou Obey of Alexandria, La., Annie Mae Rideaux of Beaumont, Texas, Thelma West of Houston, Texas and Rutha Hamilton of Atlanta, Ga.; her brother, Merrick (Lillie) Brown of Beaumont, Texas; two devoted nieces, six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, god children and other relatives and friends.
Wilda was preceded in death by her husbands, a son, her parents and ten sibling.
