VIRGINIA FLOYD COLER
Virginia Floyd Coler, 80, a resident of Patterson, La. and a native of Winnsboro, La., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 8:03 a.m. at her residence.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. at the Morning Glory Ministries in Morgan City, La., with the Reverend Benny Druilhet Sr., Officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery in Morgan City, La.
Memories of Virginia will forever remain in the hearts of her husband, Ramon Coler Sr. of Patterson, La.; one son, Alvin B. Godette of Bellingham, WA; two daughters, Debra Andrews Rutledge of Sparks, NV and Mrs. Ricky (Alesia M.) Granger of Newport News, VA; ten step-children, Ramon Coler, Jr., Kevin Coler, Jermaine Coler, Sharon Tillman, Penny Coler, Michelle Coler, Lisa Coler, Tammy Coler, Nora Dean Hamilton and Alberta Washington; two sisters, Merdice L. Brown and Rosalie Davis both of Houston, TX; fourteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two great-greatgrandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
Virginia was preceded in death by her son, her parents, six brothers, and two sisters.
