Vernon P. Gaspard Sr., 74, a native of Morgan City and resident of Bayou L’Ourse, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Businelle Gaspard; children, Vernon Gaspard Jr. and Judy Paredes; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Laura Dupre.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Belle River Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery.
Hargrave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
