Tami Marie Wiggins Flirt, 52, born and raised in Berwick and a resident of Bayou L’Ourse, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
She was born Aug. 14, 1964, in Morgan City, the daughter of Mary Katherine Kyle Wiggins and Paul Ashley Wiggins Sr.
Tami was a friendly person who was dedicated to her family. She had a “green thumb” and a degree in horticulture. She loved gardening, taking care of her potted plants, and also raising plants. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Ron Henry Flirt and wife Autumn of Fort Smith, Arkansas; daughter, Shelby Marie Wiggins of Morgan City; sister, Paula Wiggins Wunstell of Morgan City; brothers, Paul Ashley Wiggins Jr. and wife Monica of Berwick, and Kurt Lee Wiggins of Morgan City; grandchildren, Matthew, Havana and Ronnie; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and her paternal grandmother.
Tami was preceded in death by her parents, Paul “Ashley” Wiggins Sr. and Mary “Kathy” Kyle Wiggins; sister, Pamela Jane Wiggins; maternal grandparents, Betty Jane Kyle Bodin, Joseph Bodin, and John Kyle Sr.; and paternal grandfather, Robert Wiggins.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Twin City Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home beginning at 7 p.m.
