UPDATED: BERTHA MARIE WALKER CHENEVERT

Bertha Marie Walker Chenevert, known to many as Mrs. Mann, a resident and native of Morgan City, passed away November 10, 2020, in Baton Rouge, LA at Our Lady Of The Lake.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, November 21, 2020, from 8 a.m.-11 a.m., service at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 507 Fourth Street in Morgan City, LA. Burial will follow funeral service in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Memories of Bertha will forever remain in the hearts of her three daughters, Martoaka Mann, Shontel Chenevert and Courtnie Chenevert; eight grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; two sisters; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, John Chenevert Jr.; her parents, Junious and Patricia Walker Jr.; her son, Darwin Mann; two grandsons, Geremiah Thibodeaux and Stewart Granger Jr.; and four brothers, Junious “Billy”, Charles “CW”, Warren, and Lionel Peter Walker.
