SULLIVAN .J. CONCIENNE

Sullivan Concienne, a native of Berwick and a resident of Patterson, La., passed away on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023, at the age of 79 at his residence. Sullivan had a nickname that was known by many as Duke.
His parents were the late Sullivan Concienne and Lorena (Romero) Concienne of Berwick, La. Sullivan was born on Aug, 24, 1944, one of five children. He enjoyed the outdoors. Sullivan would love going to the camp down the bayou to hunt. He enjoyed doing woodwork also.
Sullivan is survived by his companion, Brenda Businelle, and his children, Rebecca Concienne (wife of the late Sullivan (Patsie) Concienne), Dana Ribardi and her husband George, Shane Concienne and his wife Shandeal, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Tommy (Red) Suarez and Louis Concienne, and two sisters, Delores Fryou and Debra Dustun.
Sullivan was preceded in death by his parents, Sullivan Concienne and Lorena (Romero) Concienne, and one brother-in-law, Andrew (J-Boy) Fryou.
