Rudy Joseph Duchan, 85, a native of Houston and resident of Patterson, died Friday, May 23, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospice in River Ridge.
Visitation was Saturday at Jones Funeral Home. Services were Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson. Burial followed in Morgan City Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Teresita Broussard of Lafayette; three stepdaughters, Ina Irvin of Patterson, Jo-Lynn Dardar and Tina Young, both of Houston; stepsons, Joseph Young III of Patterson, Willie Jeff Sr. of Houma and Mark Jeff of Patterson; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, second wife, stepdaughter and stepson.
Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
