ROSE 'MAE MAE' FORET UGAS

Rose “Mae Mae” Foret Ugas, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the age of 71.
Those left to cherish Rose’s beautiful memory are her two daughters, Shelly Ferrier and her husband, Colby, of Youngsville, and Heather Scully and her husband, Shane, of Berwick; five grandchildren, Gage Ferrier, Reagan Ferrier, Olivia Guarisco, Chase Scully and Seth Scully; and four great-grandbabies. She is also survived by three siblings, Brenda Thibodeaux, Earline Gadow, and Audrey Dupuy and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her past husbands, Jerry Stewart and Cecil Ugas; her parents, Albert and Rose Foret; six brothers, Paul Foret, Calvin “Tee-Fra” Foret, Albert “Doo” Foret, Alvin “Choo-Choo” Foret, Ricky James Foret, and Joseph “Joe” Foret; and two sisters, Betty Jean Lajaunie and Adeline “Lea” Foret Verrett Maddix.
The family requests that a time of visitation and remembrance be observed on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until time of dismissal at 8:00 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held privately by the family at a later date.
