ROBERT 'BOBBY' DIMICELI

September 10, 1949 — February 8, 2020
Robert “Bobby” Dimiceli, 70, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Ochsner St. Mary in Morgan City.
Bobby was born September 10, 1949, in New Orleans, the son of Cosimo Anthony Dimiceli and Ruth Cannon Dimiceli.
Bobby will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sister, Patricia Dimiceli Watts and husband David Charles Watts; niece, Sarah Watts Dixon and husband Thomas; great-nephew, Alexander “Alex” Dixon; and great-niece, Genevieve Dixon.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Cosimo Dimiceli; uncle, Louis “Pee-wee”; and numerous aunts.
Bobby’s sister, Patricia, would like to give a huge thank you to her special friend Robin Gruhlkey who was there for Bobby any time the family needed her to be since they lived so far away. Patricia would also like to give a huge thank you to Morgan City Health Care Center and all of their employees for the great compassion they showed Bobby his whole stay there; her heart is full for the staff who continually showed care and comfort for Bobby throughout the years.
Funeral Services will be held at noon Monday, February 10, 2020, at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation was held Sunday, February 9, 2020, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Twin City Funeral Home, and will continue Monday, February 10, 2020, from 10 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Bobby will be laid to rest at Morgan City Cemetery, where Military Honors will be rendered.
