Rev. Gilbert Raymond Parker Sr.

Rev. Gilbert Raymond Parker Sr., 85, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died Friday, March 8, 2019.
Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at Dularge Community Baptist Church in Houma. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Hawkins Parker; sons, Gilbert Parker Jr., Brian Parker, Tommy Parker and William Parker, all of Houma, and Phillip Hawkins and Ronald Hawkins, both of Morgan City; daughters, Pauline Allen, Ophelia Henderson, Barbara Williams and Lorie Parker, all of Houma; 34 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Parker of Morgan City; and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, parents, three brothers and six sisters.
