PEGGY DROWN

Peggy Drown, age 73, of Salem, Illinois, passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
Peggy was born on February 11, 1949 in Morgan City, Louisiana, the daughter of Edward and Edith (Dees) Kern. She married Cliff Drown and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Dinger and girlfriend Amy Sapp of Salem; son, Scotty Adkins of Georgia; five grandchildren, Trevor Catamas, J.D. Catamas, Justin Adkins, Ashley Adkins, and Dillon Adkins; several great-grandchildren; and siblings, Patsy Kern, Glen Kern, Karen Donaldson and husband David, Richard Kern and wife Joyce; brother-in-law, Tom Ware; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Sheila Kern and Wanda Ware.
Peggy was of the Catholic Faith and enjoyed reading her Bible. She retired after many years working in accounting. She was an avid artist and enjoyed drawing and China painting.
