OPHELIA “BIG O” EDWARDS GREEN

Ophelia “Big O” Edwards Green, 66, a resident of Morgan City, La. and a native of Ville Platte, La., passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 8:45 p.m. at her residence.
Visitation will be observed on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Jones Funeral Home, 715 Sixth St., Morgan City, La., from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m., Reverend Ron Bias, will officiate the services. Burial will follow funeral services in the Berwick Cemetery in Berwick, La.
Memories of “Big O,” as she was known to many will forever remain in the hearts of her son, Delmas C. Green, III of Phoenix, Arizona; her daughter, Ebony T. Gant of Spring, Texas; three brothers, Melvin Edwards of Spring, Texas; Henry Edwards of Winda, Georgia and Micheal Edwards of Berwick, La.; one sister, Barbara Porsche of Morgan City, La.; nine grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, two sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ophelia was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and five brothers.
