Obituary: Onetter Louise Livas

Onetter Louise Livas, 81, a native of Morgan City and resident of Thibodaux, died Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
Visitation will be Saturday from 8 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. at Moses Baptist Church, 1032 Canal Blvd., in Thibodaux. Burial will follow in the Livas Cemetery in Thibodaux.
She is survived by children, Rainier Livas of Schriever and Sylnita Livas-Bougere of Lafayette; sisters, Ann Poole of Morgan City, Mary Rogers of Beaumont, Texas and Carol Riley of Chicago; brothers, Emile Washington of Atlanta and Don Washington of Sacramento, California; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister.
