Obituary: Dennie Raymond Blanco Jr.

Dennie Raymond Blanco Jr., 79, a resident of Berwick, passed away peacefully, Friday, July 10, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Dennie was born October 22, 1946, in Morgan City, the son of Dennie Blanco Sr. and Flavia Aucoin.
Dennie was a great and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was loved by many and most appreciated for his good nature and being a giving human being. He fought the fight of cancer, thinking about his family, and trying to get better for them. He was married to his wife Linda for 60 years, and they were wonderful. Dennie’s favorite pastime was his daily trips to Walmart and ordering things online for his family. He was also an avid Saints and LSU fan.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda Delarosa Blanco; son, Brian Blan-co; grandchildren, Aerieal Lee and husband Eric and Emily Blanco and partner Natahnee; great-grandchildren, Peyton Lee and Hattie Jean Lee.
Dennie was preceded in death by his parents, Dennie Sr. and Flavia Blanco; two sons, Dennie Blanco III and Brad Blanco; sister, Sandra Blanco.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2026, at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Twin City Funeral Home, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Dennie will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery Mausoleum.
