Obituary: Alvin Delco Sr.

Alvin Delco Sr., 81, a native of Morgan City and resident of Cairo, Georgia, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City. Burial will follow in Union Bethel AME Church Cemetery in Amelia.
He is survived by his children, Alvin Delco Jr. of Lafayette, Antonio Allen of Omaha, Nebraska, Travon Goudeau of Midland, Texas, TRquin Delco of Breaux Bridge, Jaydon Delco of Cairo, Georgia, Denise Williams of Dacula, Georgia, Tammy Robinson of Madison, Mississippi, and Destiny, Ariel and Jayda Delco of Florida; siblings, Renaldo Moore and Carolyn Rose; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, stepmother, wife and 10 siblings.
