NATALIE McDUFF VIDOS

Natalie McDuff Vidos, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on June 5, 2020, at Princeton Place in Ruston.
A Louisiana native, she was born to Major Grady A. McDuff and Mildred G. McDuff. Growing up in a military family, Natalie, along with her two siblings, lived all over the world including the Philippines, Germany, Okinawa, California and Texas.
She was a graduate of Neville High School, attended NLU, and resided in Morgan City with her husband of 50 years, Jared G. Vidos. They raised two children and she became a professional caterer known for her crawfish pies, chicken stew, and lemon chess pie. She was a volunteer for hospice and PBS. She was also a member of the Krewe of Galatea and enjoyed needlepoint and playing cards. She modeled being a “sharing and caring person” (her favorite phrase) by often visiting and bringing food to older friends and family in their homes and nursing homes.
Her love will be remembered by her husband, Jared; Elizabeth Vidos (daughter), Grayson Vidos (son) and wife Cassie; Cameron, Blake, Carter and Kylan (grandchildren); Linda Schaeff (sister), Al McDuff (brother) and wife Laurie; and many nieces.
Natalie was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Grady Vidos.
