Michael Maurice Rock

On Sunday, May 16, 2021, Michael Maurice Rock of Rock Guitars, 66, left to meet the lord. Michael was born on October 6, 1954, in Morgan City to Emie Bellot and Ronald Rock Sr.
Michael was a devoted Christian member of Twin City Gospel Temple. He made many friends and changed many lives in his beloved community. Michael hand built Guitars and also enjoyed repairing electronics. He had a passion for Woodworking, technology and gardening. His two favorite plants were Amaryllis and Roses of Sharon. He adored his nieces, nephews and grandkids.
Michael is survived by his two children; Charis Rock Yoder and husband Nathaniel and Michael James Rock and wife Lelia Rock; six grandchildren, Nehamiah, Phillip, Annabelle and Clarabelle Yoder, and Michael and Mikinley Rock; first loving wife, Anita Adams; his dedicated companion, Dorothy Langlinais; and four siblings, Charis Bourg, Ronald Rock Jr., Ginger Davis and Jade Rock.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Emie Bellot and Ronald Rock Sr.
Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.; following will be a service at 2 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home.
