MARY VIRGINIA NINI GUIDROZ

April 8, 1936 — October 21, 2024
Mary Virginia Nini Guidroz, a longtime resident of Morgan City, was called to her heavenly home at the age of 88.
Mary, affectionately known as “Mim”, was a sweet wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved reading novels. In her younger years she enjoyed camping with family and friends, traveling to Texas to see the Bluebonnets in bloom and spending summers in the Rocky Mountains.
Mim leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory, her son, Mark Guidroz and his wife Ashley; her two grandchildren, Olivia G. Guidroz and Guy H. Guidroz and a host of nieces and nephews which she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy F. Guidroz; daughter, Mary Angela “Angie” Ortis; parents, Ivy Paul Nini and Inez Marie Davis Nini; sister, Helen Marie Stephens; and two brothers, George L. Nini and Ira J. Nini.
The family requests that visitation be held at Hargrave Funeral Home on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, followed by graveside services at Morgan City Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Fr. Herb Bennerfield will officiate.
