MARTHA ROSS

Martha Ross, 74, a native of Verdunville and resident of Memphis, Tennessee, died Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Slidell Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Burial will follow in Nazarene Cemetery in Verdunville.
She is survived by daughters, Cynthia Orise and Charlotte Tillis, both of Galveston, Texas, and Hope Perkins of Memphis, Tennessee; son, Joseph Madison of Morgan City; brothers, Joseph Richardson, Samuel Richardson and Edward Richardson, all of Hitchcock, Texas, and Jerry Williams of Houston; sisters, Janice Winston and Alecia Etienne, both of Hitchcock, Texas, Lashornda Richardson of Galveston, Texas, Carolyn Paul of Verdunville, and Roseanne Rhine of Patterson; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, father, siblings and great-grandchild.
