MARK ANTHONY LaPOINT JR.

Mark Anthony LaPoint Jr., 30, a native of Morgan City and resident of Baton Rouge, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021.
He is survived by his father, Mark LaPoint Sr. and his wife Twila; his mother, Lisa Ackman; his siblings, Lacy LaPoint, Kelsie Berthelot, Clayton LaPoint, Karmen LaPoint, Ethan Melancon and Paityn Wells; maternal grandmother, Diana Ackman; paternal grandfather, Alvin LaPoint Sr.; and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, paternal grandmother and great-grandparents.
Visitation will be Friday, 6-9 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m., at Hargrave Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday from 8 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Morgan City Cemetery.
Hargrave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
