Katherine Marie Mouton Singleton, 66, a resident of Amelia, La., passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 6:40 p.m. at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma, La.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Lee Chapel AME Church 609 Freret Street Morgan City, LA, from 11 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m., with the Reverend Andrew Sims, Officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Memories of Katherine will forever remain in the hearts of her husband, Frank John Singleton, Sr. of Amelia, LA; one son, Frank John (Janira Jennings) Singleton, Jr., of Patterson, LA; Mrs. Clarence (Tabita Singleton)-Preston and Mrs. Kenyon (Nita Monique Singleton) Martin, Sr.; two brothers, Clarence (Irene) Mouton, Jr. of Patterson, LA and Steve (Sheila) Mouton, Sr. of Morgan City, LA; one sister, Mrs. Ralph (Mary Cecile) Bartley of El Paso, TX; nine grandchildren one brother-in-law; three sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, her father & mother-in-law, and a sister-in-law.
