LYNETTE BREAUX MERANTA

Lynette Breaux Meranta, 64, a native of Morgan City and resident of Bayou Vista, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at Ochsner St. Mary in Morgan City.
She is survived by her husband, Kim Meranta of Bayou Vista; two children, Joseph Gargano of Nashville, Tennessee and Marlena Gargano of Baton Rouge; one stepdaughter, Asia Breaux of Bayou Vista; two grandchildren; one step granddaughter; her mother, Ruby Breaux of Bayou Vista; a brother, Joseph Breaux Jr. of Bayou Vista; three sisters, Belinda Thibodeaux of Patterson, Jenny Jones of Garden City and Sherrie Breaux of Gibson; and a host of other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Memorial visitation will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with a rosary at 11:30 a.m. and services at noon. Burial will follow in Morgan City Cemetery.
