LYDIA GUIDRY MICHEL

December 7, 1931 — July 4, 2023

Lydia Guidry Michel, 91, a resident of Morgan City, passed away July 4, 2023, at Terrebonne General Medical Center.

Lydia was born December 7, 1931, in Gibson, the daughter of Joseph Guidry and Lillius Sampey Guidry.

Lydia loved her family and enjoyed spending time with all of them.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her four children, Lloyd Guillot Jr. and wife Karen, Bonnie G. McManus and companion Ricky, Shelby Guillot and wife Judith, Galen Guillot and wife Jennifer; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dudley Michel Jr.; son, Brady Guidry; grandchildren, Kelin Ray Guillot and Krisi Guillot Borrel; siblings, Pete Blanchard, Chester Guidry, Clarice Mayon, Dorothy Beadle, Bobby Guidry; son-in-law, Ted McManus.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2023, at St. Bernadette Church, with Father Thianese Alphonse officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023, at St. Bernadette Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. After Mass, Lydia will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
