Linzy Joseph Howard Jr., 87, a native of Morgan City and resident of Patterson, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020, at Patterson Health Care.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Morgan City. Burial will follow in Morgan City Cemetery.
He is survived by four sons, Linzy Howard III, Gilbert Howard, Jason Howard and Aubrey Howard; seven sisters, Louella Verret, Mildred Toulson, Lucille Temple, Yvonne Hanzy, Daisy Douglas, Genevieve Brown and Betty Ross; a brother, Jesse Howard; 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, four sisters and a granddaughter.
Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
